Ltd Edition Ambassador Travel Bass

In order to come up with a 2009 travel solution with a more voluptuous body

shape than our Lightning Bug, Steve Azola developed this new body to

fit in a recently discovered military-spec travel case. He applied the same double bass bar construction method to this slightly-shorter-than-a BugBass II body. He also developed an abbreviated but stylish headstock. All with the desired end result being something with as much of an attractive body as possible, great sonic response, and the ability to travel safely and easily WITHOUT taking the bass apart.

It is NOT plywood.

It is equipped with a versatile, well-balanced, reliable pickup system which INCLUDES an on-board 3-band preamp.

It does NOT have to be dis-assembled to fit in its flight case.

The SKB flight case is built for a lifetime of service and therefore carries a "LIFETIME WARRANTY" ...  it is unconditionally guaranteed FOREVER. If the case is broken, SKB will repair or replace it at no cost to the owner. SKB also covers $1500 worth of contents.
