Tone Hammer

This preamp/direct box is so strong and powerful it could only be called the "Tone Hammer"! Based on the the respected OBP-3 preamp, the Tone Hammer features fully sweepable midrange frequencies in addition to bass and treble controls. With the Tone Hammer's pristine D.I. you are set for the studio or the stage.
To give this tone shaping unit the ultimate flexibility we are introducing our proprietary Adaptive Gain Shaping circuitry (AGS). AGS allows the player to kick in an additional gain structure and EQ with the "stomp" of a button. You can now go from modern slap sounds to vintage or overdriven.
18 volt operation gives the Tone Hammer plenty of headroom to reproduce the most dynamic playing style. Seperate "Gain" and "Master" controls allow you to dial in just the right gain structure for any instrument.

	OBP-1 All FET design. Two bands of boost. Maximum amount of boost: 18db, occuring at 40 Hz for the bass, and 4kHz for the treble. Input impedance: 1 meg ohm. Output impedance: 600 ohm. 18-volt system. Runs on two 9-volt batteries. This allows for maximum headroom. Retail $139/ call for price.

	OBP-3 The OBP-3 is Aguilar's most flexible onboard preamp design, providing +/-18dB of cut and boost at 40Hz, +/- 16dB of cut and boost at either 400Hz or 800Hz and +/- 16dB of treble cut and boost at 6.5 kHz. The OBP-3 has multiple wiring options, and can be wired with either a mini-toggle or internal dip-switch for midrange frequency selection. Retail $179/ call or Email for price.

	DB 924 offers two bands of boost occurring at 40Hz (bass) and 4Khz (treble). 18-volt system. In addition, high-end loss resulting from long cable runs is eliminated through a well-buffered design, which provides low output impedance. Retail $229/ call for price.
